Dear Commissioners,

 

I am writing you openly today to ask if any of you have been sent either by the Michigan commission for the Blind or the Office of Governor Rick Snyder’s office the contents of Executive Order 2012-10 in any format. Moreover, particular to blind commissioners Posont and Scott I wonder if it was provided pro forma in accessible format?

 

Currently it is inaccessible to myself and other screen reader users as posted on the governor’s own web site as it is an untagged, scanned document. This is a stark violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

 

I would appreciate any response to this inquiry as soon as possible.
