[nfbmi-talk] Getting to know a person who has a disability

Hello Listfriends,
You might know that I teach a course at Western about disability in
American culture.  My students have an assignment to get to know someone
who has a disability, finding out about the disability itself, but also
social issues such as stigma, and legal issues such as discrimination.  

I have 2 students who are not aware of anyone with a disability among
their friends and family.  Would anyone in Kalamazoo want to be
interviewed by a student?  They would need to talk to you twice,
probably, for about an hour each time.  Let me know if you would be
interested.
