So why is the Consumer Involvement Council needed anyway with the departure
of Patrick Cannon?  Anybody who is informed knows it was simply a rubber
stamp of that which Pat Cannon desired to advance under the cover of
consumer involvement and approbal.  Also it the Consumer Involvement Council
was the recruitment and testing ground for Pat Cannon to get the Governor to
appoint commissioners he desired, and would do his bidding on the MCB board.
If you don't believe that, just review who was on the Consumer Involvement
Council, then immediately afterward got appointed to the MCB board.
Coincidence?  Highly impossible with a track record like that.  Las Vegas
odds makers could not be that predictable and correct on this phenomenom.
In addition, evaluate the highly active role and direction to the CIC by the
"staff liaison" over the years.  I suppose that is a coincidence too?  When
it came to Pat Cannon, hardly anything was a coincidence, but rather a
carefully calculated political move to protect himself, while using those
assigned by Pat Cannon to do his bidding, perhaps unknowingly by those
individuals,  despite how unlawful and harmful their actions were to the
future opportunities and lives of blind persons individually and
collectively.

earlier this week:  The October 11 CIC meeting has been canceled, due to the
Bureau's transition and related activities.  In addition, I need to host the
BSBP booth at the Michigan Optometric Association's Fall Seminar next
Wednesday and Thursday.  Another date for the CIC meeting after the end of
October has not been scheduled yet.  If you've invited a guest speaker to
the meeting who is not listed above as a recipient of this email, please let
the person know that this meeting has been canceled.
