Subject: [nfbmi-talk] my newspaper

Hi all,

Here is some info about a new feature called "My paper." It is under key
4 under the main menu.

. To add sections to this area so you can customize what you want in "my
paper". There is no limit to the number of sections you can have.
1. press 0 for control panel.
2. press 5 to get to --edit my newspaper 3. to add a section press 1 4.
follow the prompts basically.

for example if you want to add a section from a michigan
paper:
1. press
key 9 4 times until you hear Newsline say the state--maine, 2. then press 4
for michigan and then when prompted, select first the paper and then again
when prompted, select the section you want to add.
3. Remember that when you are looking to add a paper from a particular state
the papers are presented six at a time.
4. this occurs each time you press the 9 key.

you will be prompted to press 1 to add another section and then prompted for
the other selections.

5. should you need help press pound key.
6. By pressing pound, you now can press any key andit will tell what it
does. press star to get out of help.
7. Remember the star key takes you back one menu at a time. If you know you
need to go back to the main menu, you can press the star key several times
or if you are patient, press star key, then listen to detect what menu you
are on, then continue to press the star key until you get back to the main
menu.

As many of you may remember, at one time if you press the star too many
times, it would disconnect you from Newsline.
This bug has been fixed thankfully.

One may also call help at
517-258-0632. Please leave a detailed message if you want a quick response.
This will allow me to fix the problem right away or I can call you and go
over the steps in getting Newsline to work the way you want it to.
the toll free number at the national center for Newsline is 1-866-504-7300.

Best,

Georgia
