Does anybody on here uses smartbus and/or ada smartbus service? If so, how
can find the areas it services? I spoke with Mike Patton, his response was
pick an address of an area, and ask him if smartbus service that address.
His advice is the long about way to learn what their service areas. I'm
looking for cities, towns smartbus and ada smart service, and go from there.
Smartbus customer service say go to their map and see what areas they
service. On their maps show what look like bus routs which make me, lol,
dizzy, lol. I'm looking for such as: Farmington Hils or any given city they
service, what their service part of that city or town, and the hours of
operation. Mr. Patton says as an example, part of Farmington Hills, streets
he mentioned like one or 2 of the mile roads, which I can't remember what
they were. Ann Arbor has good service, however, too busy for what I'm
looking for. I've even checked Traverse City, their service is OK. Hrs. are
6a.m-11p.m. 7 days a week. Unfortunately I can't get a straight answer like
that from smartbus. Though I know smartbus service lot more ground. Smartbus
hrs. of operation varies per area. Some areas smartbus operate longer than
others. If anybody on here uses the smartbus let me know what you know
about it.
Peace.

Hi,

Lansing has 7 day service, no holidays, evenings til 11 or so, not sure the
end time. No holidays, but not too many of those and who needs to ride the
bus on Christmas, anyway? There is free service for New Years Eve parties
in Lansing/East Lansing. Free service on the first Friday of each month
from 5 o'clock on.

Thanks J.J, that is very helpful. However, according to my research, Service
in Ann Arbor, is 7 days a week, and as for Sundays and holidays, there is
what is called night ride service. The night ride service is for after-hours
7 days a week, and the night ride also is in operation on holidays.

No, Grand Rapids has service 7 days a week. Sunday is a bit more limited. I
don't believe anyone does holiday service in Michigan outside of Detroit.
Kalamazoo has no Sundays and service 6 AM to 10 PM Monday-Saturday.
Lansing and East Lansing are under the same system.

Best regards,
J.J.
