Great tips and advice Terri.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, I double checked with people
from MDOT and pedestrians are supposed to cross at the sides of the
roundabout, not through the center. IN fact, the center islands that are
raised were put there largely for the purpose of discouraging
pedestrians from crossing there.
