Subject: New Training Center Director 

 

Good morning,

 

I am pleased to announce that our Training Center in Kalamazoo has a new
permanent Director as of this morning. 

 

After a lengthy nationwide search which resulted in over 200 applications,
the review panel reached a consensus selection.  52 resumes were reviewed as
part of the NEOGOV process.  10 interviews were scheduled. The quality of
the candidates for this position was outstanding.

 

It is with great pleasure, and an honor to announce this morning that the
new permanent director of the BSBP Training Center in Kalamazoo is Lisa
Kisiel.  Lisa has been offered and accepted this position.  

 

Lisa brings to her new duties an outstanding record of public service. She
possesses degrees from Western Michigan University, and has been involved in
the Vocational Rehabilitation area for many years.  

 

Legally blind, Lisa has been an enthusiastic champion of disability rights
and has advocated for the blind community. 

 

Please join me in congratulating Lisa on her promotion to this new challenge
in her career.
