[nfbmi-talk] article on Detroit metro transportation service

Sounds like a very worthwhile service, however is the $1.50 per mile amount
correct? Sounds rather costly for a volunteer provided non-profit service,
considering volunteers are reimbursed at thirty-five cents per mile. Hardly
sounds non-profit to me.

Thanks Pauline.
The MSB list this was forwarded on to me from also got a little chuckle from
the article's mistake
I was just curious about the service as I hadn't really heard of it and
wasn't sure how much of the metro Detroit area was covered by it.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for sending this. It doesn't cover much of the city of Detroit proper
yet, so I, along with most of the people I know, am not able to use this
service yet but hopefully, they will cover more of the city and surrounding
areas soon. I look forward to trying them out. I do have one correction.
Marcy **** is a rehabilitation therapist. That's the new term for
rehabilitation teachers, not a respiratory therapist as the article states.
