There should be nothing at all to hide, as long as the hotel where the NFB state convention was held is located at least 50 miles from the BSBP office in the Victor building, it is permissible for Ed Rodgers to travel to Grand Rapids the night before even though he did not appear on the agenda until after 10 the following morning.  
We also understand that he needed to leave promptly at 11 for his birthday.  
We further understand that he did not find it necessary to attend even one mili-second of the convention until it came time for him to speak.  None of this conduct  is prohibited. So why the secrecy?
