If you have not listened to the interview of BSBP Director Ed Rodgers, it is
worth the short time to listen at:
 http://wkar.org/post/revamped-state-agency-seeks-improve-services-blind

The interview first focuses on the new international 180 nation Marraketh
treaty, yet to be adopted by the U.S. Senate as required by the U.S.
Constitution. The treaty overcomes copywrite law barriers to providing
materials in print-alternative format, for books and other print materials
published in countries that are part of the treaty.

Rodgers speaks about print-alternative materials available the state library
under BSBP.

Rodgers then goes on to describe the services of BS4BP, saying the services
under the new bureau are more "proficient" today, as the former 7-member,
yes Rodgers said 7-member Commmission board was broken down, because the
Board could override or change policy made by the agency director.

The interview conalso has Rodgers describe the challenges a person
encounters from losing vision, like eating, and Rodgers describes a success
story of an older man that Rodgers met at the bureau's training center on
the man's last day at the center, and how the man was prepared to return
home to run the family business.
