Several points here:

One this part time job is UAW represented and is about $12 per hour.

That's not bad.

The bad thing here is that there is no preference or even requirement that 
these students are blind, or know one single thing about rehabilitation of 
blind persons.

Further, this is moot right now for Nixon, at DTMB has stopped all state 
hiring during the federal shut down.

Again though there is no requirement tht these students are blind.
