[nfbmi-talk] Student Assist Positions Posting

Dear Christine,

A big Amen to that. How can a person sell their soul to a corrupt agency
and administration? I could and would not do that for any job. At least I
help others as well, and I am glad to know that many still ask for my help
and direction. I certainly don't know everything, but what I do know is
that blind people in this state need to get off their backsides and fight
for what is right and lawful, and kick the bums out.
We know we will prevail, but at what cost and what sacrifices. We need
all of us not to be afraid and take the risk, taking to the legislature, the
governors office and the streets. If we want others to follow and do their
part then we to as the NFB and leaders in Michigan, must be the ones to
stand on the front line and be willing to absorb the shots that the enemy
will fire. We are unwilling to "kiss ass", and we sacrificed much, but I do
not regret it because I can sleep at night and know I am at peace with my
soul.

Dave Robinson

These are indeed dark days for blind folks in Michigan, and they grow ever
darker. With the escalation of illegal practices, abuses of power,
over-balancing of administrative costs, and increase in propaganda, I am
thankful today that I am not still inside this administration. Indeed I
shudder to think that I ever was...well at least they never liked me...so I
think that means that I can still sleep at night, knowing that I worked for
the betterment of people who are blind and not the advancement of my own, or
my bosses' self aggrandizement!
