Dear Michigan Federationists:

     If you would like to attend National Convention and find yourself in need of a little assistance, here are two possible sources 
of assistance. The State Board has allocated $3,000 that will be distributed to members who contact Larry Posont before May 1. In 
order to receive a little assistance one must sign up and register for Convention, must attend the banquet, and must work at least 
one shift in the exhibit hall at the Affiliate table.
     If you have never attended a National Convention, look up Jernigan Scholarships in the Braille Monitor or on the
www.nfb.org site. You must write a letter to Allen Harris that answers some specific questions. Send it to Larry Posont and he will 
write a letter to go with it and send it to Allen Harris. Please read all the details on the website or in the Braille Monitor.
