It sounds to me as though they are offering an internship for a rehab student, which I believe is required to finish the program. This next bit is cut from the announcement.
Enrollment in a Master's degree program in Blindness and Low Vision
Studies, and completion of all coursework necessary to complete an internship is
required.
I think they used their listing template poorly...should have said Master's enrollment right in the beginning, instead of voc-tech or any bachelor's degree.

Hello,
Terry, this is amazing! It is 1 thing to hire a student assistant to do
clerical work of answer phones, it is a far different thing to hire a
student assistant with no required knowledge to teach newly blind persons
the skills of blindness. I cannot believe the BS4BP professional staff
actually agrees with this concept. It further portrays the complete
disregard and dismissal of rehabilitation as an important service which
makes a difference in people's lives.
This is amazing.
Warmest Regards,
Fred
