Hi Terry,

Yes, I agree. I raised this last year at the Commission meeting. I
consider it begging and fraud to the extent that the agency gets tax money
to do the things they claim the money will be used for and they don't even
spend that.

So, you and I are the NFB. What are you and I going to do?

Warmest regards,

Fred

What a disgusting corrupt and fraudulent joke on Michigan citizens!
Likely the only blind person to be assisted is Rob Essenberg, as he pockets
the money!

This is the type of corrupt deceit the NFB ought to be engaged in exposing
to the public!

Michigan's official holiday ornament on sale for $20; proceeds to help the
blind

LANSING, Michigan - Michigan's official holiday ornament celebrating the
state Capitol building is on sale, with proceeds going to help the blind.

The Michigan Bureau of Services for Blind Persons recently announced that
limited-edition ornaments are on sale for $20. The bureau is part of state
government.

The ornaments can be bought inside the Capitol and at various state offices
in Lansing and Detroit. The state ornament was previously sold by the
Friends

of the Capitol organization starting in 2003.

Proceeds will be used for training programs such as one that helps blind
citizens become employed.
