Yes, good suggestions, and demonstrates the need of NFB members to serve on
affiliate and chapter committees, where recommendation related to any
committee subject can be raised, debated, and recommendations made to the
board.  Unfortunately, committees of one or two exist, and they work
tirelessly to contribute their part.  It takes a village to educate a
student, or something like that, but I am certain you all get the point
emphasis!

Hello All,

Would the board consider this as a solution?

1. We define that there are two $500 scholarships available, clearly.
2. The scholarship committee will asign a member to mentor each scholarship 
winner both through the convention and as a follow up to it.

Not sniping here but just trying to make some positive suggestions that 
might address Elizabeth's concerns.

Again just suggestions.
