Perhaps he is distancing himself from the current administration, believing
distance from his cronnies, will insulate him from accountability for his
role in the adfministration's misuse of the vocational rehabilitation ATM
funds, intended for the blind and disabled persons.  Perhaps he saw the
Florida fraud case conviction and 39 year sentence for misuse of the CIL ATM
PIN!  All should being looking over their shoulders, as the arrest warrants
and handcuffs are approaching as a matter of time.

office.

Hilfinger, who has three years of state government

experience, was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder as regulatory

chief and director of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory

Affairs.

In his most recent role, he worked as chief operating

officer of the Michigan Economic Development Corp., the firm

said.
