Minutes, July 24, 2014
Quorum, yes Larry Posont, Mike Powell, Joe Sontag, Terri Wilcox, Dave Robinson, Derek Moore
and Mary Wurtzel.
Secretary's Report, Terri Wilcox. Dave Robinson moved to adopt the April 24 Minutes. Derik Moore seconded the motion. The Minutes
were approved.
Introduction of Participating Members
President's Report, Larry Posont. The Braille mugs were very popular at National Convention. All of the mugs were sold. Another
batch of mugs will be ordered with a different design. The Braille will be razed up more and the mugs will have stick figures on
them. Twenty-four people are interested in purchasing mugs. After expenses, we made about $5 per mug in profit. It is suggested that
we create a 75th anniversary Braille mug for next year's convention. Terri Wilcox suggested that we have Braille mugs at the
banquet. The cost of the mug could be added to the ticket price. It was decided that it was much simpler to sell mugs at State
Convention. A travel mug with Braille on it is another suggested possibility. Twenty tote bags were sold. Larry Posont moved to
order another batch of 144 Braille mugs. Terri Wilcox seconded the motion. It is necessary to figure appropriate costs and shipping
for Braille mugs. Half of the cups will carry the National Federation of the Blind logo and the other half will not.
