Mukesh:

While doing a Google search, I ran across the following site (based in
India) which makes reference to talking scales. While the emphasis of
this company appears to be personal weight and personal health, it
does make reference to talking scales that could be useful in
manufacturing or other industrial surroundings.

As time allows, I will forward your message to the National
Association of Blind Entrepreneurs, a division of the National
Federation of the Blind. Someone in that organization or on its
mailing list might have experiencial knowledge of talking weight and
measurement devices that can handle large mass or that have been
designed for use in business and industry.

I am a blind business owner living in Northern Indiana--close enough
to the U.S. state of Michigan that I subscribe to the Michigan NFB
mailing list to keep track of what is going on there. My field of
endeavor is finance; so while I cannot solve your friend's present
dilemma directly, there may be other things I can do to give him more
access to or control over sensitive information in his business. You
can reach my mobile at +1-574-386-8868 or arrange for a conversation
with me via Skype, where my username is Upside42.

Kind regards,

Kane Brolin, Vice President
Michiana Chapter, National Federation of the Blind
