I am wondering if anyone knows how the case of Andrew Thurston of Lansing, a
911 emergency dispatcher for Ingham County Turned out?  In 2013, he was
being harassed and bullied by

his employer based on blindness.  some of his fellow employees had placed
items in the

aisle ways in an attempt to trip him; they purposely moved and

placed important work related documents out of his area.  some coworkers
even wore

sunglasses and brought in Umbrellas as a way to ridicule Andrew for

turning on the lights in the office.  These were not special lights,

just for Andrew, they were the standard space lighting provided for

the room when the building was constructed.    It is outrageous that any

blind person be treated this way in their workplace, especially a government
workplace.
