Hey all,

This weekend is the highly anticipated DOES seminar. I am so very excited for this seminar, and can't thank those enough for helping me and mentoring me through the process of making something like this possible.

We have 28 participants this weekend, and many amazing speakers including Michael Hudson, director of the MSU RCPD.

Attached is the agenda, so you all can look it over and see what we will be covering if you like. I will provide a final update on this seminar at the conclusion, and am also planning on doing a type of evaluation survey to figure out how we can improve these types of seminars in the future.

I can't stress enough how important these types of seminars are, as they prepare college and high school students for the transition into employment, and build life long friendships and mentorships. We have many new individuals who are not NFB members attending the DOES seminar, and it will be exciting to tell them all about the federation and network with them to show them that they can live the lives they want. :)
I am so excited this weekend is finally here, and can't wait to learn some new things and have a great time.

Sincerely,
Jordyn Castor
