Wow Fred, this looks like it will be a grand event for the kids. Ozi has a great idea here. Man I miss Michigan so very much. I am sending loads of love to you, Mary, Maria, Mark and Freddy of course. Also sending love to Jessica, and I do not know the name of Maria's man. But I am thinking of you all and I wanted you to know that.

With love,

Christine and Doug

Hello,

WHAT’S ALL THAT NOISE, OR IS IT SOUND?

If you are a high school or Middle School aged blind person, come join the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan Youth Outreach Sensational Adventures in Sound (SAS) Monday, February 15 from 11:00 –
5:00 am 6816 Delta River Drive, Lansing Michigan.

Have you ever wanted to produce music or drama recordings. Are you interested in how a DJ makes all those sounds all at once? Are you wondering how to connect your .mp3 player or mobile device to your home sound system? Presenter Mike Ellis is a life-long sound expert.
You will learn about mixers, connectors, stereo and mono recording and mixing. You will make a recording to take home with you. We will discuss the physics of sound. We will discuss the electricity of sound. We will talk about and handle all kinds of sound equipment including mixers, speakers, microphones, special effects keyboards, cables and connectors and learn how to make a beautiful noise. What is the difference between sound and noise, anyway?

So come join us on February 15 in Lansing. Lunch will be provided.
There is no cost for this fun, informative and valuable experience.
