National Federation of the Blind of Michigan At-Large Chapter Telephone Conference Announcement

The at-large chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan will be hosting our first telephone conference of 2016 on January 13, at 7:00 p.m. The call starts with a general business meeting, followed by a presentation and discussion of issues that affect the blind of Michigan. This month our topic of discussion will be the National Federation of the Blind Washington Seminar, and the Legislative Agenda of Blind Americans. The conversation will be facilitated by Mr. Parnell Diggs, Director of Governmental Affairs for the National Federation of the Blind. It is important that the blind actively participate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of public policies that affect blind people. Join us to ensure that your voice is heard in the halls of Congress.
