Good morning, Georgia,

I visited Applewood Estate and got their booklet about the estate.
It says that blind visitors can call ahead and make a reservation for a
touch tour! I bet you would love it because there are many wonderful
things there to see and experience.

Phone number is: (810) 233-3835
You can also contact Ashley Phifer <aphifer at ruthmott.org

They arranged someone to push their manual wheelchair when I took the
house tour.

This being their 100th anniversary, they are open every Thursday-Sunday
from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. You had mentioned going there to walk, but a
touch tour would be even more fun!

If you tell me when your next NFB meeting is planned, I can let some
people know about it.

Have a good day.
