Kalamazoo is finally getting Sunday bus service as well as service until 
after midnight on most routes.
Here are the details.

Bus Schedule and Routing Changes To Take Place - September 6
Bus schedule and routing changes are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 
September 6.
Following the passage of a Central County Transportation Authority 
millage in August, 2015, and the requests of our community to bring 
about Sunday, later night service and increased frequencies during busy 
times on heavily frequented routes, we are pleased to announce the 
following additions to bus service and schedules coming this September.
Sunday Service
Hourly 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on:
1-Westnedge               2-Portage              3-West Michigan       
   4-Oakland            5-East Main
6-Parchment                7-Alamo                8-Egleston             
9-Gull                  10-Comstock
11-Stadium                 13-South Burdick     14-West Main       
  15-Paterson          16-Lovell
26-West Centre           27-Romence
Later Night Service
Until 12:15 a.m., Monday through Friday on:
1-Westnedge              2-Portage              3-West Michigan       
   5-East Main              7-Alamo
8-Egleston                  9-Gull                    11-Stadium         
        14-West Main           15-Paterson
16-Lovell                    21-Solon/Kendall/Lafayette
  Later Night Service
Until 11:15 p.m., Monday through Friday on:
  4-Oakland                 10-Comstock          13-South Burdick

After 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday on:
6-Parchment (10:10 p.m.)        26-West Centre (10:33 p.m.)   
  27-Romence (10:20 p.m.)
Route Enhancements
• 1-Westnedge—A bus will be added from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, Monday through 
Friday.
• 2-Portage—A bus will be added from 7:45 to 9:45 am and 2:45 to 6:45 
pm, Monday through Friday.
• 8-Egleston—A bus will be added from 3:15 to 4:45pm, Monday through 
Friday.  The departure time from the Kalamazoo Transportation Center 
will change to be :15 after the hour and the :45 after the trips will 
stop after 4:45 p.m.
• 9-Gull—A 6:15 am trip will be added Monday through Friday.
• 21-Solon/Kendall/Lafayette—Saturday service will be added from 11:00 
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. when Western Michigan University is in session during 
the fall and spring semesters.
Route changes
• 14-West Main—Service will be eliminated along West Main to the west of 
Meijer. Service will continue to be provided to Meijer.
• 27-Romence—Service will be eliminated along N Avenue from Sprinkle 
Road to Pavilion Estates.  Service will be added to the Shaver Road 
corridor with stops at Meijer and Walmart.
