Hello to all on this list serve.
This is election day and I know many of you are either in the middle of
voting, planning to vote later today, or have already voted.  I have a file
ready on my desk to enter the names of people who report any voting
difficulties.  I attend to follow up with you to make sure you file an
official complaint with the state of Michigan.  Treasurer Mark Eagle has
offered his assistance if anyone needs help filling out the required state
forms for this process.  The state commented earlier this year that there
were no reports that anyone had difficulty voting or using the machine.
This, as we all know is totally inaccurate.  However, if they did not
receive complaints they can say they would have no way of knowing no matter
what we tell them.
So let us make sure to follow through.  Contact me and I will document.
Then you must make sure to file a complaint and I will do my best to follow
up with you.
I am asking that all of us should take this survey that is listed below my
message to you.
So good luck, let us go forward and please,  arm yourself with the
ammunition of documentation, filing complaints, and completing this survey
to record your experience so it can be further pursued on the national

Calling all blind and low-vision voters who participated in the 2018 United
States midterm election-the National Federation of the Blind needs your
feedback! Whether you voted during early voting, at your local polling place
on Election Day, or by mail, we want to hear about your experience. Please
complete the blind and low-vision voter experience survey at

The results of this survey will be provided to state election officials,
state protection and advocacy agencies, and voting rights advocates to help
improve the accessibility of future elections. Funding for the survey was
provided through a Help America Vote Act (HAVA) grant from the
Administration for Community Living, United States Department of Health and
