Hi again to all members of and fellow travelers with the Michiana
Chapter in the National Federation of the Blind.

My source for the following is the NFBNet master mailing list, posted
originally on Wednesday, July 1.

If you're thinking about plugging into part or all of our NFB Anywhere
And Everywhere National Convention for 2020, then please take part
first in the Rookie Roundup Zoom Meeting tomorrow evening--that is,
Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 8:30 till 9:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time.  I
am copying many on this because some individuals have come to me in
this area, not knowing how or when to join up.

The Rookie Roundup is an important working part of Convention.
Occurring early in the week when most are just arriving, it is
tailored for first-time attendees and for other Federationists who
have agreed to play an assigned role in assisting the newbies.  In
2020, even if you've attended National Convention for decades, it is
our suggestion you log into the Rookie Roundup anyway if at all
possible.  For the first time ever, the Federation's National
Convention is being conducted online with no central venue--from
Tuesday, July 14 through Saturday, July 18.  This means that in a way,
all of us are newbies in 2020.

computer or smart, connected phone or tablet is

 If this fails, an alternative way to log into Rookie Roundup is to
connect via telephone--in other words, using your smartphone's Phone
