The Henry Ford Virtual Verbal Description Program -

The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited

Date: Tuesday, August 17, 2021

Time: 2-4 pm EDT

Join us for a virtual verbal description program highlighting The Jim Henson
Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited, now on display at The Henry Ford. This
dynamic exhibit explores Jim Henson's groundbreaking work for film and
television and his transformative impact on culture. Throughout a singular
career spanning four decades, Jim Henson created iconic puppet characters
and stories for film and television that left an indelible mark on popular
culture. With his gently subversive humor, restless curiosity, and
innovative approach to puppetry, Henson built the Muppets into an enduring
international brand, contributed beloved puppet characters to Sesame Street,
and made movies that applied his vivid imagination to stories for the big
screen.

This experience will be conducted remotely in verbal description and
conversation. The program will be held via Zoom and will be accessible by
web link and call-in phone number, depending on your preference.

This program is free. Reservations are required and space is limited. Please
