I am not sure whether any reader recognizes Jacob Smith as anyone they
know or as having grown up in any part of an organized blindness
movement here in the USA.  But this is a name worth remembering.

The story I am highlighting here is that of a 15-year-old, legally
blind ski racer.  It aired on "60 Minutes" this past night.
