Personal Finances And Business 101 Fare

 

 

.    Join us for this intensive, one-day public forum covering the
fundamentals of understanding and improving personal finances, and starting
a new business for low-income blind and visually impaired people. 

.    It takes place Saturday April 15th from noon-5 PM at the McNichols
Office Center, 11000 W. McNichols Rd. at Meyers in Detroit. 

.    This informative fare features live presentations on: budgeting,
independent banking, saving, building and repairing credit, adding income to
SSI and SSDI, planning to start a new business, life insurance, and more. 

.    Cost to attend is $10.00. 

.    Food, snacks, 50-50 raffle tickets, plus related products and services
will be available for purchase from on-site vendors. 

.    Bringing a face mask and notetaking supplies is strongly recommended. 

.    Come, learn, be empowered.

.    Organizations involved include Eye Learn, First Independence Bank, and
the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons.
