Good Afternoon Federation Family,

The time we have been waiting for is upon us and I am excited to inform you
all that registration for the 2024 state convention of the National
Federation of the Blind of Michigan is now open. This year's convention,
taking place October 31- November 3 at the Radisson Plaza in Kalamazoo, is
sure to bring the most informative, engaging and entertaining options for
blind people to truly live the life they want.

This year's convention price breakdown includes a few factors. The cost of
registration ($15) guarantees attendees access to our convention agenda and
chances at winning one of our various door prizes being offered throughout
the weekend. Our 2024 convention banquet ($45) includes selection of one of
the most delectable meal choices during a presentation of various awards and
speakers that commemorate the efforts of our affiliate throughout the past
year. Our pizza luncheon ($10) returns on Saturday, November 2 with a
variety of delicious choices for toppings, providing an affordable lunch
option right in the hotel after general session. Finally, our hospitality
performing arts staple will return on Friday, November 1. "Crazy Costume
Karaoke" ($10) hosted by the At Large chapter offers appetizers, door
prizes, a cash bar and plenty of opportunities to cut loose with your
Federation family. Family, the weekend will be phenomenal. Don't miss your
chance to reserve your rooms and register for this amazing event now!
