Dear Mark, I understand your difficult decision. There has been an eagle in the NFBMI since I joined in 1973. I knew your grandmother, Dorothy, (who was a founding member of NFBMI) well, and also worked with your dad. You have been the most important kind of leader that an organization like ours can have. You have always stayed in the background. You have worked tirelessly to keep our affiliate running smoothly. You have worked, behind the scenes to resolve conflict and controversy, when others have lost there heads. Your experience and level headedness will be missed. Thankyou for all that you have done for MFBMI,. Your leadership in legislation and fiscal management will be hard to replace.

Dear NFB of Michigan Affiliate,

 

I am writing to formally announce my resignation from all mypositions including CFO/Treasurer at the National Federation of the Blind ofMichigan, effective January 1, 2025. This decision has not been made lightly,and it comes after much discussion with family.

 

The National Federation of the Blind of Michigan has been anincredible experience, and I am grateful for the opportunities and support Ihave received over the years. I am proud of the accomplishments we haveachieved together and the relationships I have built during my tenure.

 

I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition and amwilling to assist in any way possible to facilitate the transfer of myresponsibilities.
