Happy New Year,

I am looking forward to a new year of birding adventures. I hope you can
join in some of the excitement. Please consider attending our Michigan
Snakes Alive program on January 11 from 9-noon at the Environmental
Interpretive Center on the campus of University of Michigan Dearborn, 4901
Evergreen Road in Dearborn. I promise that if you are afraid of snakes or do
not care for them that when you leave the program on January 11 you will
have a new attitude regarding snakes. You will have the opportunity to get
up close and personal with many species of Michigan snakes.

Attached and below is the 2025 Birding by Ear and Beyond schedule. Please
note that in February we will join together for the weekend of the Great
Backyard Bird Count, February 14-17, 2025. Registration details will be
coming next week so please begin making planst to participate.

2025 Birding by Ear and Beyond

During 2025 there will be many new great birding by ear opportunities.
Unless otherwise noted the monthly program will be held from nine to noon on
the second Saturday of the month. These are held in the natural area and the
Environmental Interpretive Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn,
4901 Evergreen Road in Dearborn, Michigan. For more information contact;
