Happy Sunday Federation Family,

 

I hope this email finds you all in good health and spirits. Beginning
tomorrow, Monday, February 19th the Detroit Chapter will kick off our first
fundraiser for 2024. The 2024 March Madness Squares fundraiser will allow
participants to support the work of the chapter along with the chance to win
cash prizes based on the 2024 NCAA March Madness games beginning next month.
This fundraiser is open to all in the federation family and their family and
friends, co-workers, extended family. You get the idea. The rules are as
follows:

 

2024 NCAA March Madness Square Rules: Detroit Chapter

There is a $25 entry fee for each square purchased. Purchasing of squares
will begin on February 19th. You may purchase up to a maximum of 10 squares.
All entry fees must be received no later than March 26th at 9 PM. All
participants will be added to squares as their donations are received.

 

The method of payment for participation in the pool is through Cash App.
Please send the $25 to $detroitNFB and list on the 'For' line 'Your Name'
and reason for payment 'NCAA Fundraiser'. 

Each individual square will have the same chance to win each of the 15 games
(i.e. - a single square could win multiple games). Example of winning
square: North Carolina 92, Kansas 88; winning square = horizontal 2,
vertical 8.

 

Beginning with the Sweet 16 game series the final score for each game will
determine the winner.  Horizontal numbers represent the last digit of the
winning team's score and Vertical numbers represent the last digit of the
losing team's score. For each game, the person who owns the square that
matches the last digit of the winning and losing team's final score wins
that game.

Payouts progressively grow larger with each passing round. The payouts for
each round are outlined in the table below:

 

Sweet 16                           8 Winners        $30 Payout    March
28-29

Elite 8                                4 Winners       $50 Payout    March
30-31

Final Four                          2 Winners        $100 Payout  April 6

NCAA Championships      1 Winner          $250 Payout  April 8

 

Total    15 Winners    $890 Payout  $1610 Raised

 

All payouts will be made the day after the NCAA Championship game. Any
