Greetings Friends and Family,
After a successful weekend of fun, fellowship, and yes frolicking in the
snow, we are looking ahead to warmer adventures. As we transition to the
spring and the return of lots of songbirds we have much to look forward to
enjoying. On March 15 we will be gathering at the Environmental
Interpretive Center on the campus of the University of Michigan-Dearborn to
learn about the magic of maple trees. The late winter snows will help to
bring forth that delicious liquid gold from the Sugar maple trees. Please
join us as we find ways to partake in the maple syrup.
Mark your calendars for the next weekend event. May 9-11 will be our
Migratory program celebrating the return of the songbirds. We are staying at
Clear Lake Camp in Battle Creek as we welcome the songbirds back to nest and
raise their families. Details for registration will be coming soon. Thanks
for all you do to care for our environment as we enjoy the beauty around us,
