Dear Members of the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan,

Over the past several months, our organization has experienced significant
leadership changes. We recognize that this has been a challenging and, at
times, unsettling period for many of our members. Change, especially in
leadership, can create uncertainty. However, it can also open the door to
reflection, renewal, and growth.

As I step into the role of President, I want to assure you that our focus is
on healing, rebuilding, and moving forward together. Our strength has always
come from our shared commitment to one another and to the mission of the
National Federation of the Blind. While we may have encountered a setback,
it does not define us. Instead, it presents an opportunity to strengthen our
foundation and reaffirm who we are.

We are guided by our philosophy: live the life you want. That message
reminds us that we are resilient, capable, and forward-thinking. Together,
we will rebuild. Together, we will grow stronger. Together, we will rise.

This is a time to unite, support one another, and focus on the work that
matters most - empowering blind individuals across Michigan and advancing
our shared goals. I am committed to fostering collaboration, open
communication, and a positive path forward for all members.

Thank you for your continued dedication, patience, and belief in our
organization. The future of the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan
remains bright, and I am honored to move forward with you.
