Hopefully, lots of you are making plans to attend our upcoming national
convention in Austin. It is not too late to register or get a hotel room or
arrange transportation or to apply for financial assistance from National
Federation of the Blind of Michigan. Financial assistance  applications are
available at NFBMI.org and they are due back by May 15, 2026. If you are
attending national convention I hope you will consider serving at the
Independence Market for a few hours during your convention week. This would
be a great help to the market process for both staff and your fellow
convention participants to help them have a smooth and enjoyable experience
while brousing and shopping. If you wish to help in the market please let me
know so that I can turn your name in and you will be contacted about your
hours of service.
