To all the members of the NFBMI,

On behalf of the Michigan Association of Blind Students, I would like to
wish all the wonderful fathers out there a Happy Father's Day. I would also
like to wish any single mothers who are doing double duty a Blessed Day as
well!

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there, and a massive,
heartfelt shoutout to the amazing single mothers who are masterfully
pulling off the dual parenting job every single day!

Today, we celebrate all of you. Whether you’re the dad teaching the art of
the perfect dad joke, or the rockstar mom pulling double duty as the
protector, provider, and occasional spider-squisher—you are doing absolute
magic.

Parenting is a beautiful, chaotic ride. It’s filled with deeply emotional
moments that make you tear up with pride, instantly followed by trying to
figure out why there is syrup on the ceiling. To the dads who show up with
endless love and patience, and to the single moms who bravely wear both
capes without a single complaint, you are heroes. You give your whole
hearts to your kids, stepping into whatever role is needed at a moment's
notice, all while keeping the wheels from falling off the wagon.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the endless love you give, and for
surviving on pure coffee and love. Happy Father’s Day—you've more than
earned an extra nap today!
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.

Sincerely,
Danielle Agajan
