Searching for Signs of Spring

It may still be chilly outside, but, that does not stop the calendar from
indicating that Spring has sprung. Many wildflowers are already appearing
and some new birds are filling the woods with song. Migration is not in full
swing yet so it is a good time to engage our senses in learning to identify
Michigan birds. Please join me this Saturday at the Environmental
Interpretive Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 4901Evergreen
Road. Weather permitting we will be outside from nine to noon and searching
for signs of spring.
