               Coming soon, June 7, 2025, there will be an Open House and meeting of the National Federation of the Blind of Michigan New Wayne County chapter. We are meeting at Allegria Village in the Edison room and will be sharing our NFB organization as well as talking to seniors about vision loss and blindness. There will be adaptive equipment as well as information for navigating vision loss and still living a meaningful, joyful life.  At noon on that Saturday, June 7, we will have time for fellowship complete with snacks and literature, and conversation about the National Federation of the Blind. We are the local chapter, New Wayne County, National Federation of the Blind of Michigan which is an affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind. >From 1-3p m we will conduct our regular monthly business meeting which will include information about future conventions, our Greenfield Village tactile tour, fundraising,  and our summer picnic. Also, currently we are supporting legislation which will improve the lives of those who are blind and low vision, both state and national. We look forward to meeting with you as we learn to live the lives we want and blindness need not be a barrier to our hopes and dreams.
