Greetings Michigan Birdbrains,

I have bad news and good news to share with you. First the bad news is that
we are not joining the owl prowl at Palmer park on Saturday night because it
is sold out and we cannot fit. The good news is that we will still meet and
do our own Owl Prowl. Please meet at 5p m at the Environmental Interpretive
Center. We are going to hike on the Rouge River Gateway before deliberately
searching for owls. This trail is wheelchair accessible  so all are welcome.
We may hear some owls wherever we go. So bring your previous knowledge about
owls if you remember any and join us for a fantastic time. Please contact me
if you need transportation.

Birding, November 15

This month we will be meeting on the third Saturday of November. Also, a
different time, 5-9p m. Gather at the Environmental Interpretive Center on
the campus of University of Michigan-Dearborn, 4901 Evergreen road in
Dearborn, Michigan. Prepare for outside adventure because at 6:30p m we will
travel to Palmer Park in Detroit, Michigan. We will be joining with the
Detroit Bird Alliance for an Owl Prowl.

Never fear, we will also have our annual Owl Prowl for our holiday gathering
on December 13 from 4-8p m. More details will be forthcoming about this
event, but, please mark your calendars. If you have any questions or need
transportation on November 15 please call me, Donna Posont at 313-220-8140.
