On September 7 the state board meeting of the NFB of Michigan will be held in Kalamazoo at the Radison hotel. There is an opportunity to ride the train from Dearborn to Kalamazoo and return on the same day. The train leaves Dearborn at 6:44 a m and returns by 8:19p m. The board meeting starts at noon so there will be plenty of time to get to the Radison by then. The train station in Kalamazoo is two blocks from the Radison so it is walkable or inexpensive by Lift. The cost of the Amtrack train is $70 round trip. Please consider attending the state board meeting in the same location as our upcoming state convention.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Additionally we will hold a chapter meeting on September 28 at the Henry Ford Centennial library from 1-3 p m. There will not be another chapter meeting in October as we will be heading to convention on October 31. Please make sure that you join us on September 28 as we have much to discuss including arrangements for state convention.
