Spring air is filled with songs of the season. The season is for mating and<br>
that requires lots of noise for match-making. Most of the singers have been<br>
here all winter, but, now they have something to sing about.<br>
<br>
In the next few weeks and during the month of May we will meet many<br>
varvelous Michigan migrators. They will be flying back north to raise their<br>
families and help continue their species.<br>
<br>
This is where we come in. On the weekend ofMay 9-11 we will have the<br>
opportunity to walk through the woods and explorevarious habitats to witness<br>
the return of the marvelous Michigan migrators. With plenty of time for fun,<br>
fellowship, and of course food we will focus on meeting the migrators and<br>
learn to identify them by song and call. This sense-sational skill is known<br>
as Birding by Ear and you can easily find success in the outdoor classroom.<br>
Clear Lake camp consists of dorms for sleeping and a giant lodge for<br>
enjoying eating, participating in programming and gathering for games<br>
galore. At this peak migration moment we are spending two nights and three<br>
days at Clear Lake camp with the Outdoor Education center in Battle Creek ,<br>
Michigan.<br>
