Fellow Federationists:

As you know, our bill on blind parents' rights was heard in the house
judiciary committee in late February. We are working to make sure that the
bill moves forward in the Senate as well, and we could use everyone's help.
Please send a brief (880 words or less) message to Senator Andrew Mathews,
chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee, via his email
form <https://www.senate.mn/members/email-form/1222> , or call his office at
651-296-8075, asking him to schedule a hearing on S.F. 1370, a bill to
strengthen and protect the rights of blind parents. Please also let me know
at jennifer.dunnam1829 at gmail.com <mailto:jennifer.dunnam1829 at gmail.com>
when you have done so, so that we can track our efforts.

Thank you-your help with this important legislation will mean a lot.

Best,

Jennifer Dunnam

Legal and Policy Committee, NFB of MN
