Good evening folks City Utilities 2010 budget was approved today also as of October 1st City Utilities Transit Services fares are going up the new fares are below:
Increased CU Transit Fares

60-Ride Book $45.00
7-Day Pass - unlimited rides $13.00
31-Day Pass - unlimited rides $45.00
Daily - unlimited rides $3.75
Semester $125.00
Elderly (65+), Disabled or
Medicare Card Holder
Cash Fare $0.60
30-Ride Book $13.50
60-Ride Book $22.50
7-Day Pass - unlimited rides $6.50
31-Day Pass - unlimited rides $22.50
Youth (5-18)
Cash Fare $1.00
30-Ride Book $20.00
60-Ride Book $30.00
7-Day Pass - unlimited rides $10.00
31-Day Pass - unlimited rides $30.00
Paratransit
Cash Fare $2.50
30-Ride Book $54.00

Transfer Vouchers

Starting October 1st Paratransit riders who rude paratransit and fixed route buses can ride the fixed route bus for free the only two requirements are you must live in Springfield and be a City Utilities customer otherwise if you ride paratransit and fixed route buses you will pay the reduced fix route bus fare new paratransit buses have been ordered to replace the 1993 modified school bus paratransit buses
