Hello friends. It is my sad duty to convey the news that our dear friend Loretta Benavides died on Saturday morning. Loretta was a charter member and a past president of our St. Louis chapter as well as a member of the state board and a longtime Federationist. 

A memorial service will be held for her this coming Saturday at the Kirkwood Mary Culver  Home for the Blind and Visually Impaired at 221 W. Washington Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122-3916. The service will begin at 10:45, and those who plan to attend should let the family know because there will be a light lunch to follow. Loretta has requested that donations be made to the Friends of Wolfner Library in lieu of flowers.
