[Nfbmo] Saturday, 5/15/10 deadline to apply for 1st-time National Convention scholarship

Hi all,
    There are only two days left to apply for scholarship  funding for 
first-time Missouri NFB affiliate attendees 
to the 2010 National Convention!   Below is the information I  sent out 
last weekend.  Please send all posts
and requests, phone calls etc. to me by midnight, Saturday, 5/15/10 at 
_danflasar at aol.com_ (mailto:danflasar at aol.com)  or (314)646-7128.
    So far, I have received only one application!

    National Convention is coming up again in  July.   The NFB Missouri 
affiliate is offering a stipend for  first
 
time national NFB convention attendees.   To apply, send a  note requesting 
consideration for the stipend
to myself at _danflasar at aol.com_ (mailto:danflasar at aol.com) .   I will  
distribute all requests for funding to the other committee members, Rita  Lynch 
and
Laura Rios.  The total amount to be distributed for  first-timers is $2000 
to be shared among the successful
applicants.
   Qualifications:
1.   Must be a dues-paid member of the NFB of  Missouri as of time of 
application.
2.   Have never attended an NFB national convention  before.
3.   Must participate in the convention activities and be  willing to 
report on the experience.
