Bryan,
    Thanks very much for the background on this.  I was  sort of intrested 
until I saw your note that you have to provide your own gear,  which is a 
bit strange if this is intended as an intro to hunting - how would  you know 
what you need?
    Again, thanks for the heads-up.  Did you attend  this event before and 
if so, did you find it worhtwhile?

this is up  towards hanibal and the mark twain area.

* it is the reserve only, no  lodging options, there are motels available 
in 
elsberry or  louisiana.

* people born after 1966 have to have passed the hunter  education class 
and 
have a MO id number.

* you have to provide your  own gear as they don't rent anything.
