                              MONDAY, DECEMBER 3rd:
                              CELEBRATE THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF
                              PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
BY MAKING A CALL TO THE SENATE FOR THE CRPD!

                              COUNTER THE LIES

(FORWARD THIS MESSAGE VIA EMAIL BUT
DO NOT PUT ON SOCIAL MEDIA - OPPOSITION IS MONITORING)

We have come so far in the movement towards ratification of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and if everything goes right, we are just a few days away from a final vote. At this important moment, we are facing lies from the opposition including that the treaty will sexualize children and hurt people with disabilities!

They will stop at nothing to try and impact the vote and so we must take action now and take back our voice! So this Monday, December 3rd, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, call the Senate and call often!

                              CALL BLITZ!
Call Capitol Switchboard to reach ANY Senator:
                              (202) 224-3121

Call and ask to speak with the offices of the senators below and tell them that:

"I am a person with a disability and/or advocate and
I am counting on you to vote YES for the CRPD
                              without new amendments."

Don't worry that these senators aren't from your state - this is an United States disability movement!

Call each senator at least once! Call and call again - we need to flood the switchboard in order to show our commitment to the rights of people with disabilities.

                              Senators to Call
                              Isakson (GA)
                              Chambliss (GA)
                              Grassley (IA)
                              Moran (KS)

                              Hatch (UT)

                              CALL YOUR LOCAL PRESS!
Set up a vigil, visit your Senator's in-state office, BE CREATIVE and let the press know this issue matters!
