So what would you suggest I do?  Call them back, or just keep my reservations as they are and deal with it when I get there?  I had to have two separate confirmations and two different rates.  But they said they didn't have any rooms left and the group rate for Thursday night, just the other nights.

Rosina, I just made my reservations also. You need to tell them our contract 
specifies "run of the house." They told me they had plenty of rooms, just 
not in our block. Make your reservation, then let Gene deal with the hotel 
to get you the rate--it's why they pay Gene the big bucks...
